Beginner Quilting with Natalie Baxter (Online)

In this three-session online workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of quilting through the versatile half-square triangle (HST) block. Guided by artist and quilter Natalie Baxter, the class covers fabric selection, cutting and piecing techniques, pressing and layout design, and finishing a small quilt. Between sessions, participants will have time to sew independently, returning to each live meeting for guidance, troubleshooting, and creative feedback.

The course meets for three live online sessions via Zoom, each lasting two hours. A materials list and preparation guide will be provided upon registration. By the end of the course, each participant will complete a small lap-sized or wall-hanging quilt that reflects their own color and pattern choices.

This course will meet on January 14, 21, and 28 from 6–8 PM EST.
