Fire Cider Making at Maitri Farm | Tuesday October 6, 2026 from 5:30-7pm

Join us for a hands-on workshop making fire cider, a traditional herbal tonic infused with roots, herbs, fruits, and spices in apple cider vinegar. Using ingredients grown at Maitri Farm in Amenia, New York, participants will learn about the history of fire cider, seasonal herbal traditions, and the unique flavors and properties of plants cultivated on the farm.

Together, we will harvest, chop, and combine fresh ingredients to create personalized batches of fire cider to take home. Whether you're curious about herbalism, interested in local agriculture, or simply enjoy making things by hand, this workshop offers an opportunity to learn, create, and connect with the landscape through the plants it produces.
