Indigo Course | Sunday May 24, 2026 from 1-3:30pm at Troutbeck

Join us for an afternoon of natural dyeing in this hands-on indigo course. Participants will learn the process of making an indigo vat from the plant itself, gaining an understanding of the traditional process from leaf to dye. Using premade vats, participants will then dye their own clothing while exploring classic shibori techniques - folding, binding, and shaping fabric to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind patterns. No prior experience needed, just curiosity and a love of making.

All participants will get a bandana and some scrap fabric to experiment with and are encourages to bring 100% cotton clothing of their own to dye.
