Join artist Courtney Childress for a hands-on needle felting workshop where you’ll build abstract wool compositions directly on stretched canvas. Inspired by her vibrant, tactile art practice, where colorful wool roving is needle-felted into canvas to create rich, painterly surfaces, you’ll learn how to manipulate fibers with felting needles, experiment with color and texture, and develop your own small felted canvas piece. This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, offering creative insight into an art form that blurs the line between painting and fiber work.
