Shibori Indigo Dye Course | Sunday June 9, 1-3PM at Troutbeck

Cottage Courses is joining forces with Lost Wax Studio for an afternoon of Shibori Indigo dyeing. Participants will learn to create different patterns and effects using the oldest known Japanese dyeing technique. We will provide two bandanas and encourage you to bring up to two items of clothing to dye.*

This workshop will take place outside and involve hot dye baths. Children are welcome to join if accompanied by an adult. Please dress for the weather in clothing that you don't mind getting wet or stained.

*light weight cotton fabrics, no heavy materials (such as towels) as it will soak up all the dye. This is a great way to up-cycle your old clothing or accessories! Please reach out with any questions.
