The most obvious trait of wood as a material is its linear structure. When we begin to manipulate this structure, the real fun begins!

In this class, participants will create curves, volumes, and 3-dimensional forms out of wood while creating a one-of-a-kind spoon. You will begin with a spoon blank cut on the bandsaw before the course. Participants will learn how to use various hand tools to shape their objects to their desired form. After sanding and sealing, students will leave with a finished product to be proud of.

No experience is required; this is a great way to dip your toes into the world of woodworking.
